Summary of Requirements

University Requirements

All students are required to complete the university's General Education (基因) curriculum (Analytical Reading & Writing, Intellectual Heritage I 和 II, 艺术, Human Behavior, Global/World Society, U.S. 社会、种族 & 多样性, Science & Technology, Quantitative Literacy).

All Temple students must take a minimum of two writing-intensive courses at Temple as part of the major. The writing-intensive courses for this major are 他3297 和 他4298.

College Requirement

All CPH students must complete the College Core Course, HRPR 1001 Public Health: The Way We Live, Work 和 Play.

Clearance Requirements

Please note the Health 信息rmation Management program requires students to complete internships at facilities both on 和 off the University campus. 这些位置 可能需要 criminal background checks, Act 33/34 clearances 和 perhaps a drug screen. Placements may also require the student to maintain personal health insurance. The results of these requirements may limit 和 potentially eliminate placement options which can, 反过来, result in an inability to meet graduation requirements.

You should consult with your advisor for information on the distinctions between Anatomy 和 Physiology selection sequence 和 its implication for your degree 和 career goals. Satisfactory completion of the 亲属1221 和 亲属1222 序列或 亲属1223 和 亲属1224 sequence will meet the two-course 基因 Science 和 Technology requirement. These courses are similar but not interchangeable 和 must be taken in the correct sequence. Students choosing the 亲属1221 和 亲属1222 sequence may need to take an additional 2-credit elective to meet credit hours degree graduation requirement.
